Landsberg is a freelance video artist and director. He studied theater, film, and media studies in Cologne and Vienna, where he began collaborating with director PInar Karabulut on innovative concepts that fuse video and live performance. Their work has been featured at Schauspiel Köln, Volkstheater München, Volkstheater Wien, and Volksbühne Berlin.
In 2021, Landsberg and Karabulut created the six-part theater web series Edward II – Die Liebe bin ich for Schauspiel Köln’s streaming platform, which attracted international attention.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, he collaborated with director Stefan Bachmann on a digital adaptation of Elfriede Jelinek’s Schwarzwasser, as well as with Rafael Sanchez on Stefko Hanuchevsky erzählt: DER GROSSE DIKTATOR, both produced by Schauspiel Köln.
Landsberg also directed the music video for Nikotina Turner by Jacques Palminger, Erobique, and Yvon Jansen. His short film Roots was nominated for the German Newcomer Film Award in 2021.
Since 2023, Landsberg has been collaborating with director Kieran Joel, beginning with Jedermann ist Niemand und Niemand ist Jedermann at Staatstheater Darmstadt. This partnership continued with Parzival, followed by Dantons Tod und Kants Beitrag at Theater Dortmund, and Blutbuch at Hans Otto Theater Potsdam..
